Our performers this month will be Stephen Duncan and Gibson Wilbanks.
Stephen the BluesDude is originally from the music rich town of Athens Georgia and now resides in Atlanta. He plays Country blues deeply rooted in the Mississippi Delta as well as the Piedmont. He can be found playing at Fatt Matt’s Ribshack and Darwin’s. He has also played the Juke Joint Festival, the Caravan Festival and Pinetop Perkins Homecoming in Clarksdale Mississippi where he had the opportunity to play with Bob Margolin and share the acoustic stage with Roger Hurricane Wilson, Bill Abel, and Rip Pryor. He has also traveled to North and South Carolina to play with Music Maker artist Shelton Powe Jr and performed at the annual Chicken Raid Festival and Northside Tavern in Atlanta.
When Carly Gibson and BJ Wilbanks first began collaborating musically during the summer of 2011, it was like milk chocolate meeting peanut butter…a beautiful and tasty combination! Up to that point, they had each been pursuing separate solo singer/songwriter careers, but something truly magical took place when they began writing and performing together.
Together as Gibson Wilbanks, these two have been called “Gregg Allman meets Bonnie Raitt.” They have combined their considerable songwriting and musical skills to create the unique and popular Southern bluesy sound that helped them to win the coveted songwriter’s open mic competitions at Eddie’s Attic in December of 2011 and in November of 2013 at Eddie Owen Presents @ Red Clay Theatre. Think Gregg Allman meets Bonnie Raitt meets Michael Hedges with a dash of Al Green–in short, an entertaining and joyful experience not to be missed!
The North Fulton Community Charities food pantry, located at 11270 Elkins Road, Roswell, has a continual need for food and staple products.

I’ll be joined by Freddy’s Finest, the Donna Hopkins Band (celebrating Donna’s birthday!), with special guest Russ Still and The Moonshiners.
