Been hard at work in the studio finishing my first full-length album and I’m happy to say…..it’s done! We are in the planning stages for the release and hope/estimate it will be sometime early next year. Don’t worry though, there will be a single release in between there somewhere.
I’ll be performing as part of Gibson Wilbanks with Donna Hopkins at Matilda’s Music Under The Pines in Alpharetta, GA on August 13th at 8:30 pm. This is an awesome outdoor venue, BYOB and food. Always a great time!
Saturday, August 27th, I’ll be performing as part of Gibson Wilbanks at the Pigs and Peaches BBQ Festival in Kennesaw, GA. We’ll be on both the Miller Lite Stage and the Main Stage. Click here for more information!
Please mark your calendars for an amazing “Totally RAD 80s Night” show happening Saturday, September 24th with my band and the Captain Midnight Band at the Moonshadow Tavern in Tucker, GA at 9:30 PM. Dress accordingly in your super 80s getup and we buy your first drink. It will be a stellar fun night for sure as we remember why the hell we should never forget how badass the 80s were…
Please also be on the lookout for a crowd funding project for my other band Gibson Wilbanks coming soon. We are currently in the studio working on our first album as well. I can’t wait to get all of this music to you! It’s burning a fire in my soul that I simply must let you hear.
If you haven’t yet, please go check out the single I released last month, Hold Down Your Happiness. All proceeds go to Warrior Overwatch through Heart Songs for Veterans to help support troops that come back from war.
Also, all of my music is available via iTunes, Spotify, Microsoft, CDBaby, and Amazon. Playing, streaming, and listening to these tunes helps me soooooo tremendously much, so please do so as often as you can! If you’d like to support me, please as always, buy and share the music with all of your peeps. Don’t forget, the other best way to support me is to come to a show!
Keep a look out for the BJ Wilbanks Band Tour that we are currently planning. We will be making our way across the Southeast soon!
